LG Optimus Black or White?
LG Electronics has introduced in the Russian market of Android smartphone LG Optimus Black (P970) in a white casing.

Samsung Stratosphere: slider with support for LTE
Company Samsung Electronics, apparently preparing to release another smartphone based operating system Android. This device is called Samsung Stratosphere (SCH-I405), the Internet entered its picture taken, apparently, the press material. The device will be sold in the U.S. market operator Verizon Wireless, which provides services in cellular networks, CDMA and LTE. New supports standard fourth-generation LTE and is likely to be the first slider to the company of such networks.
There are some details about the smartphone, but for now they are not particularly large. Referred to the operating system Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, touchscreen, possibly performed by Super AMOLED Plus technology with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, and two cameras - a 5-megapixel and 1.3-megapixel front.
It is not clear what the processor uses the device, and from this, not least, depends on the model class and, of course, its cost. It is assumed that it could be worth $ 150 with contract.

Samsung Epic 4G Touch
Why is it that the upcoming US launch of the Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint -- but not Verizon -- feels a bit underwhelming? It must be because the global version of the handset is already seeing a refresh at this week's IFA show in Germany, while domestic consumers will likely have to settle for the older specs as the device is released over the coming weeks. Nonetheless, we'll have to live with the hand that we're dealt, and that means getting familiar with US variants such as the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, pictured above.
Originally scheduled to launch tomorrow alongside the Hercules on T-Mobile and "Attain" on AT&T (clearly that trio of trademarks turned out to be a red herring), weather conditions along the East Coast have forced a delay in the E4GT's debut. However, if that date on the press shots turns out to have some lifecycle significance for this model, we could be seeing an actual release in just over a week's time.

Nokia C5 has a 5-megapixel camera
Nokia has no loud statements released an updated version of its smartphone Nokia C5-00.
This model was neither announced in advance, or changed - just on the websites of Nokia device appeared Nokia C5-00 5MP. Externally, the model does not differ from the previous version, but the inscription of the camera indicates that it is now in its 5-megapixel module.
Another difference was the increase in the amount of internal memory - the updated version of the smartphone memory increased to 256MB ROM and built-in memory became 512 MB.
The rest of the model is exactly the same as the basic Nokia C5. The smartphone runs on OS S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2 supports GSM and WCDMA, has a 2.2-inch screen with QVGA resolution and a built-in A-GPS. Two versions of the RM-744 and RM-745 differ-supported bands - GSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100, respectively.
In the sale of Nokia C5 with 5-megapixel camera Full Focus will come in the next quarter. Relative price positioning is not known, but most likely the model will simply replace the original 3-megapixel version.

Galaxy S II USA 4.5-inch Display ??
It appears that a mister Tommy Thompson from all the way over at Google+ has done some legwork on the images of the Galaxy S II that have been released thus far. What Thompson has done is to take the dimensions as given in the FCC listing of the Epic Touch, aka the WiMAX version of the Galaxy S II being announced tomorrow, and adjusted the images of the original Galaxy S II and the new USA version accordingly. What he’s found is that, what do you know, the display on the USA release may well be the larger 4.5-inch display we’ve been hearing about in a LTE edition of the device.
Now we’re not thinking that this release will be LTE-enabled, but a 4.5-inch display certainly isn’t out of the picture. On the other hand, the icons appear to be larger on the now-larger of the two devices. Does this mean that the resolution will be the same? Does it mean that the FCC report was a farce? Does it mean that the people responsible for the graphic design in this set of devices made the display the wrong size?
So much to think about! Another thing we can hypothesize over is the processor size, the LTE version of the device having an upgraded 1.5GHz processor right out of the box. But again, this might not be that. We can hope though, that added to our long list of wants for this release on several carriers of course. We’ll be in NYC tomorrow to cover the Samsung event, letting you know ASAP everything we hear on the device or devices as they’re revealed. Be there!

Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S
Xperia™ arc is my current favourite phone and it has almost been glued to my hand for six months now. Apparently I’m not the only one finding it attractive. Xperia™ arc was awarded with EISA award for best European camera phone back in August and has also won the prestigious red dot product design award. Today, in conjunction to the big IFA fair in Berlin, we are proud to present the new Xperia™ arc S – the fastest and most entertaining Xperia™ phone to date.
Xperia™ arc S comes with a 1.4 Ghz processor compared to 1 Ghz in Xperia arc. It also contains the new photo feature 3D Sweep Panorama presented last week . I’ve tried it out and it’s surprisingly cool! It’s easy to use to. You simply sweep the camera across the objects you want to capture and while you do it you’re guided in the phones camera interface. During the sweep movement the camera will take lots of pictures and then recompute them into a 3D picture. To view the picture in 3D you connect Xperia™ arc S to a 3D TV through the HDMI connector. We’ll try to provide you with a demo on how it works here soon, although in 2D:-)

The most important updates from the current version of Facebook inside Xperia™ are that you’ll now be able share games and apps through Facebook, like music from FM radio and see the latest images uploaded by your friends in your phones gallery.

Sony Entertainment Network will work across many different devices and for Sony Ericsson consumers (in the markets where the service is available) this means that you’ll get access to a catalogue of over 10 million music tracks from the cloud based subscription Music Unlimited service and all the latest movie releases from the on-demand Video

Vodafone 555 Blue - another Facebook-phone
Presented a model operator Vodafone Facebook-phone called Vodafone 555 Blue. The unit is a monoblock with QWERTY-keyboard and should be a budget solution that provides access to popular social networking site. Despite the fact that its screen is quite big, has a diagonal of 2.4 inches, it does not touch - all management is carried out using the buttons.
Among which there is a special button access to Facebook, which is customizable and can be designed to be placed on his page of photos, links or other content. Phone is very affordable - the cost to the conclusion of the contract is less than 100 euros. Phone Vodafone 555 Blue is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera that has flash, but no autofocus.
Also in the apparatus there is no front camera, so take advantage of video calling through Skype or video chat Facebook on it will fail.
However, the device still does not have any module Wi-Fi, or support of third generation networks, Internet access is provided by EDGE-connection and the Opera browser 5 Mini.
